Port Overview
The Port of Nasipit is the major seaport or base port in Agusan del Norte. It is a reinforced concrete general purpose wharf utilized for foreign and domestic general cargoes and passengers. Berthing facilities are as follows: A 184.25-meter container berth with a load capacity of 68.67 MPa and an apron width of 20 meters. Ro-Ro berth with a berth of 134 meters and 4 units 20 x 20 meters square Ro-Ro ramp having a load capacity of 51-71 MPa.
The wharf is protected by rubber fenders and provided with mooring facilities. For small vessels, a 10 m depth is safe. For large vessels, 47 m is the safe depth for anchorage. Anchorage has limited swing for large vessels. Services offered: cargo handling, porterage, ancillary, bunkering, water supply, tug, pilotage, line mooring.
